The required classification society should be confirmed before ordering because certification requirements can vary between projects.

For projects involving third-party inspection, buyers may need an inspection report or related inspection records. These documents can provide additional confirmation that the supplied material has been inspected according to the agreed requirements.

Other documents may include a packing list, commercial invoice, certificate of origin, shipping documents, and any agreed quality or traceability records.
