Common classification societies associated with AH32 steel plate include ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register (LR), Bureau Veritas (BV), China Classification Society (CCS), and RINA. These organizations establish rules covering marine materials and inspect or approve steel products according to their respective requirements.

For example, buyers may request ABS AH32 for a vessel classed by ABS, while a DNV-classed project may require DNV AH32 certification. Similarly, CCS, LR, BV, or RINA certification may be required when the corresponding classification society is responsible for the vessel or project.
