What is the difference between Q235 steel and 45# steel

45# steel is a high-strength medium-carbon quenched and tempered steel among high-quality carbon structural steels, with an average carbon content of 0.45%. Therefore, it is named 45# steel. 45# steel does not contain specially included alloy elements. 45# steel is suitable for manufacturing high-strength moving parts, such as air compressors, pump pistons, steam turbine impellers, rolling shafts, connecting rods, worms, racks, gears, pins, etc. in heavy and general machinery.
