ASTM A514 Grade P steel plate is under ASTM A514/A514M standard, the specification for high yield strength, quenched and tempered alloy steel plates for use in welded parts and other structures. ASTM A514 Gr P is short for A514 Grade P steel. There is the similar steel grade as SA514 Grade P in standard ASME SA 514/SA 514M.
