According to the prediction of industry organizations, the automobile industry will maintain a growth rate of 4% during the "14th five year plan" period, and the automobile production will reach 30 million units in 2025. From the perspective of industry development, in the future, the automobile industry will continue to grow, the overall steel demand will continue to increase, and the demand for high-end automotive steel plates will further increase.

According to the new energy vehicle industry development plan 2021-2035 issued by the general office of the State Council, the domestic sales of new energy vehicles will reach 8.75 million in 2025, 16 million in 2030, and the demand for high grade non oriented electrical steel will continue to increase rapidly.

New energy automotive steel and ordinary automotive steel have strong versatility. There are only differences in the steel used for battery shells and silicon steel. From 2018 to 2020, the sales volume of new energy automobile plate body steel is increasing year by year, which brings new opportunities for the automotive steel plates increment.
