The material 16Mo3 etc. steel exported from Latin America to the United States grew in August, with both Brazil and Mexico growing, according to BNAmericas.com.

The material 16Mo3 etc. steel exported from Latin America to the United States rose to 877,600 tons in August from 812,700 tons last year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.

In July, the export volume of material 16Mo3 etc. steel was 766 thousand and 600 tons, the average in the first 7 months was 676 thousand tons.

Exports in August were $671 million, up 34.5% from $499 million in the same period last year and 17.1% from $573 million in July.

In August, Brazil exported 566,100 tons of material 16Mo3 etc. steel to the United States, up 7.8% from 525,100 tons in the same period last year. Exports amounted to US $356 million, up 33.8% from 266 million US dollars in the same period last year. In July, export quatity and export volume of material 16Mo3 etc. steel were 456 thousand and 800 tons and 284 million US dollars respectively.

Mexico exported 285,900 tons of material 16Mo3 etc. steel to the United States in August, up 12.9% from 253,300 tons in the same period last year, and $279 million in exports, up 40.9% from $198 million in the same period last year. In July, export quantity and export volume of material 16Mo3 etc. steel were 286 thousand and 600 tons and 261 million US dollars respectively.
