China's crude steel production increased by 4.2% year on year in May

According to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics, in May, the output of crude steel, pig iron and steel in China was 92.27 million tons, 77.32 million tons and 114.53 million tons respectively, up 4.2%, 2.4% and 6.2% year-on-year respectively; the daily average output was 2.9765 million tons, 2.4942 million tons and 3.6945 million tons respectively, up 5%, 3.9% and 3.6% year-on-year respectively, which were all at historical highs.

From January to May, the output of crude steel, pig iron and steel in China was 411.75 million tons, 355.99 million tons and 488.19 million tons, respectively, up 1.9%, 1.5% and 1.2% year on year.
