The application of Q235C steel and Q235C carbon steel plates

For GB/T 700 or GB/T 3274 Q235C carbon steel plates,  Q represents the yield of Q235C material, and the following 235 refers to the yield value of Q235C material, at about 235MP. With the increase of the thickness of Q235C material, the yield value will be reduced. Because of its moderate carbon content, good comprehensive performance, good combination of strength, plasticity and welding performance, Q235C carbon steel has been widely used.

Q235C carbon steel are often rolled into wire rod or round bar, square bar, flat bar, angle steel, I beam, channel steel, window frame steel, intermediate and thick steel plates, etc. Q235C steel is widely used in architectural and engineering structures. Q235C carbon steel plates are also used for building workshop rack, high voltage transmission tower, bridge, vehicle, boiler, container, ships and so on. It is also widely used for mechanical parts which are not very high in performance requirements. Q235C grade steel can also be used as some professional steel.
