Brazil's A285C material etc. steel output increased by 2.5% in the first three quarters of 2018 ove

According to the Brazilian Iron and Steel Association (IABr), Brazil's A285C material etc. steel output in the first nine months was 26.1 million tons, an increase of 2.5% over the same period of last year.

Domestic sales of A285C material etc. steel amounted to 13 million 800 thousand tons, an increase of 9.6% over the same period last year.

The import volume of A285C material etc. steel was 1 million 950 thousand tons, an increase of 6.5% over the same period of last year. Domestic consumption of A285C material etc. steel is 15 million 600 thousand tons, an increase of 8.7%.

The association did not publish export data of A285C material etc. steel.

Brazil is the largest A285C material etc. steel producer in Latin America, with large steel companies such as Gerdau, Usiminas and CSN.
