The surface quality of GB/T1591 Q345B high strength steel plate shall meet the requirements

GB/T1591 Q345B high strength steel plate is familiar to more and more foreign customers and is widely used in various structural construction.

The surface quality of Q345B low-alloy hot-rolled steel plate shall meet the requirements.

1. The surface of Q345B steel plate is not allowed to have bubbles, scarring, cracking and iron oxide scale.

2.Defects on the surface of GB/T1591 Q345B high strength steel plates shall not be allowed to be welded or blocked, and shall be cleaned with a chisel or a grinding wheel.

The cleaning shall be mild and angular, and the cleaning depth shall not exceed the minimum allowable thickness of Q345B steel plate.
4.The trim of GB/T1591 Q345B high strength steel plate shall not have serrated convex blocks, but some hairlines less than 2mm depth and 25mm length are allowed.

For GB/T1591 Q345B high strength steel plate with milling edge, due to the edge crack and other defects caused by rolling, the transverse depth should not exceed half of the deviation, and the width of Q345B steel should be less than the nominal width.

The surface quality of GB/T1591 Q345B high strength steel plate shall be consistent with the above provisions.
If the purchased GB/T1591 Q345B high strength steel plate does not meet the requirements, the customer has the right to ask for a refund.
